At the construction site of the future Silleno polyethylene plant, a significant HSE milestone was recorded in early May 2026 — 4 million man-hours without lost time injuries (LTI).
This achievement reflects the cumulative safe work efforts of all project participants, including contractors and subcontractors, since the start of full-scale construction.
Construction is currently ongoing at two key process units — pyrolysis and polymerization — as well as at utility and offsite facilities. Overall project progress has reached 27%, with implementation proceeding in line with the schedule.
More than 1,700 personnel and 330 units of equipment are engaged on site. The majority of construction and installation works are being carried out with the participation of Kazakhstani companies.
Safety remains an absolute priority at all stages of project implementation.
