In the suburban village of Erkinkala in the Atyrau region, a project to green the territory of a future park has been launched as part of the nationwide environmental campaign “Taza Kazakhstan”.

The initiative is being implemented with the support of the Atyrau city akimat and Silleno LLP and is aimed at creating a comfortable urban environment and expanding green spaces in the region.

The event was attended by Head of the Atyrau Akim’s Office Aibek Kadraliyev, General Director of Silleno LLP Mukhtar Avutbayev, Akim of the Erkinkala rural district Malik Sagidollauly, Chairman of the Veterans Council Zhumaden Sharipov, and Chairman of the Erkinkala Public Council Kopbergen Kunshigarov.

During the event, the planting of 1,000 ash trees began on the territory of the future Erkinkala Park, which covers approximately 2 hectares. The company is also carrying out works to fence the area.

In total, in 2026 Silleno LLP plans to plant 2,000 tree saplings: 1,000 within the future park and another 1,000 in autumn as part of the company’s environmental initiatives.

As noted by Silleno LLP General Director Mukhtar Avutbayev, environmental responsibility is an important part of the company’s activities:

“Atyrau is our shared home, and it is our common responsibility to make it cleaner and more comfortable to live in. Silleno is committed to the environmental agenda and fully supports the “Taza Kazakhstan” initiative. This year, we are raising our target and plan to plant 2,000 tree saplings. We hope the new park will become a point of attraction for residents and contribute to creating a comfortable urban environment”.

At the same time, more than 100 employees and partners of the company took part in a clean-up activity at the SEZ NIPT site in Karabatan, where the polyethylene plant is under construction.

Earlier, in 2025, the company planted 1,000 trees as part of its environmental projects at schools No. 42, 43, and 44, as well as in Balykshy Park.

The implementation of such projects contributes to improving the environmental situation, as well as to urban landscaping and greening.
