On April 9, a meeting of the Committee on Ecology and Natural Resources of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, chaired by Edil Zhanbyrshin, reviewed issues related to increasing the share of local content in major oil and gas companies.
During the meeting, the General Director of Silleno LLP, Mukhtar Avutbayev, delivered a presentation outlining the current status of the project construction, as well as the company’s progress and future plans for increasing local content.
Representatives of the project’s EPC contractors – Tecnicas Reunidas, Tecnimont and Sinopec Engineering Incorporation also participated in the meeting.
Following the meeting, a protocol will be prepared and submitted to government authorities and oil and gas companies.
