Today, Silleno conducted its first pilot testing session for final-year students of the S. Utebayev Atyrau University of Oil and Gas.
The goal of the testing is to determine the level of knowledge and readiness of future specialists to work in the operations block during the future commissioning of Silleno, the operator of the polyethylene plant construction project.
Fourth-year students majoring in Chemical Technology of Organic Substances and Industrial machinery and equipment for the oil and gas industry took part in the first stage of the selection process. Their knowledge was assessed across two modules – Technology and Mechanics.
Students who demonstrated a sufficient level of knowledge will be invited to the next stage – an interview with the Silleno selection committee. Candidates who successfully pass the selection process will receive job offers upon graduation.
Similar activities are planned in other educational institutions in the region with which memorandums of cooperation have been signed (S. Mukashev Atyrau Polytechnic College, APEC Petrotechnic Higher College and Makat Technological College of Oil and Gas).
