On 16 October, A Forum dedicated to Oil and Gas Machine Building Forum and Operators’ Open Day was held in Oral, organized by the International Center for Development of Oil and Gas Machine Building (IMBC) in cooperation with the Ministry of Energy.
The event brought together more than 800 participants, including representatives of oil and gas and petrochemical companies, local manufacturers, industry organizations and government agencies.
A key part of the programme was the Operators’ Open Day, aimed at strengthening direct engagement between major projects and Kazakhstani manufacturers. As part of the event, Silleno representatives held a dedicated session covering planned procurements, technical specifications and participation requirements for potential suppliers.
During the B2B meetings, local companies had the opportunity to discuss potential areas of cooperation directly with Silleno representatives and receive up-to-date information on the project’s procurement procedures.
Silleno continues to expand the participation of domestic businesses in the implementation of the polyethylene plant construction project. To date, around 40 Kazakhstani companies are involved in this major petrochemical project, with the total value of contracts awarded to them exceeding USD 1.2 billion. Domestic companies are engaged in engineering, manufacturing of equipment and materials, as well as construction and installation works.
