AtyrauNefteMash is producing two large-capacity columns that stand out for their scale and technical complexity within Kazakhstan’s mechanical engineering sector:

  • Ethylene Fractionator, weighing 1,470 tons and measuring 101 meters in height, is 78% complete.
  • Quench Tower, weighing 700 tons with a height of 51 meters, is 55% complete.

These columns will become part of the pyrolysis unit, where ethane is converted into ethylene — the primary feedstock for subsequent polyethylene production. Installation is scheduled for 2026.

In addition, the Atyrau-based enterprise is manufacturing another important component — a deaerator, designed to remove dissolved gases in the water treatment system.

Cooperation with AtyrauNefteMash strengthens the involvement of local manufacturers in one of Kazakhstan’s largest petrochemical projects and contributes to increasing the share of local content.
