{"id":2956,"date":"2026-07-31T18:02:23","date_gmt":"2026-07-31T12:02:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/silleno.kz\/?p=2956"},"modified":"2026-07-31T18:05:38","modified_gmt":"2026-07-31T12:05:38","slug":"2956","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/silleno.kz\/?p=2956&lang=en","title":{"rendered":"First Cohort Completes Training at MAIRE Jaryq Academy"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Atyrau hosted the graduation ceremony for the first cohort of the MAIRE Jaryq Academy, an international educational programme designed to train future engineers and technical specialists for Kazakhstan\u2019s petrochemical industry.<br \/>\nThe first 19 participants, students of the Safi Otebayev Atyrau University of Oil and Gas, successfully completed the six-month programme implemented by the international engineering company MAIRE (Tecnimont) in cooperation with JSC NC KazMunayGas. MAIRE is a strategic partner in the implementation of major petrochemical projects in the Atyrau region, including the construction of the polyethylene plant and the Gas Separation Complex.<br \/>\nThe programme for the first cohort consisted of two stages. Over six months, the students received theoretical training at the Tecnimont office in Atyrau and gained practical insight into the implementation of petrochemical projects at the construction site of Silleno\u2019s polyethylene plant.<br \/>\nThe second cohort, comprising 20 graduates of Nazarbayev University, the Kazakh-British Technical University, and the Safi Otebayev Atyrau University of Oil and Gas, has already begun the programme.<br \/>\nThe training consists of three stages. The theoretical training took place in Atyrau. Participants then continued their studies at MAIRE (Tecnimont) in Milan, where they explored modern engineering solutions and attended business training sessions at Politecnico di Milano, one of Europe\u2019s leading technical universities. The final stage will take place at the company\u2019s engineering centre in Mumbai, India, where participants will gain practical experience at one of MAIRE\u2019s largest engineering hubs.
