Silleno LLP has signed a long-term agreement with Air Liquide Karabatan Tech Gases LLP (ALKTG) for the supply of nitrogen and compressed dry air to the future polyethylene plant in Atyrau region with an annual capacity of 1.25 million tonnes.<\/p>\n
Under the agreement, ALKTG will build and operate two state-of-the-art, energy-efficient air separation units (ASUs) to produce high-purity nitrogen. The facility will rank among the largest industrial gas facilities in the Central Asian region.<\/p>\n
ALKTG’s investment in the project will amount to 70 million euros. The facility will be located within the National Industrial Petrochemical Technopark, near the future Silleno polyethylene plant.<\/p>\n
The industrial gas complex is scheduled to commence supplies by the end of 2028. Particular attention will also be given to the development of local content as part of the project.<\/p>\n

Air Liquide has been a long-standing partner of the KazMunayGas group of companies and brings extensive international experience in the supply of industrial gases. The contract is the result of a competitive selection process and lays the foundation for long-term cooperation within the project,» said Mukhtar Avutbayev, General Director of Silleno LLP.<\/p>\n
Compressed dry air and nitrogen are widely used in industrial processes and are also essential for the operation of control systems, automation equipment, and instrumentation at the future polyethylene plant, which will produce high-value-added products.<\/p>\n
