Today, a roundtable discussion on the “Polyethylene” project, focused on environmental protection, was held in Atyrau.
Participants were presented with information on environmental protection measures during the construction and installation phase of the future polyethylene production plant.
Representatives of government bodies, the public council, the dialogue platform of “SRDI “Caspiymunaygas” JSC, and members of the public participated in the event.
During the discussion, recommendations were made on measures aimed at minimizing the impact on the atmosphere, protecting water resources, preserving soil cover, and other important issues during the construction phase.
Additionally, representatives of Silleno, the project operator, answered public questions regarding the production process, staffing issues, and the environmental aspects of the project implementation.
